Cookie Policy
Effective date: May 27, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Ray ("Ray," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on raywp.com, rayanalyze.com, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you agree to the use of cookies as described here, except where your consent is required by law (in which case you can manage your preferences through the cookie banner or your browser settings).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site's operators. Similar technologies — including local storage, session storage, pixels, and tags — perform comparable functions, and references to "cookies" in this policy include those technologies.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Services to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as signing in, filling out forms, or setting privacy preferences. Without them, parts of the Services will not work.
Examples:
next-auth.session-token— keeps you signed in to RayAnalyze.next-auth.csrf-token— protects against cross-site request forgery.next-auth.callback-url— manages the OAuth sign-in redirect flow.- Stripe cookies (set by Stripe during checkout) — required to complete payments securely. See Stripe's cookie policy.
Functional
These cookies remember choices you make to provide a more personalized experience, such as your theme, language, or which property is selected in the RayAnalyze dashboard. They are not strictly required, but the Services may be less convenient without them.
Analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the Services so we can improve them. These tools may set cookies that record anonymous information about your visit (such as pages viewed, time on page, and referring site).
We may use:
- Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly first-party analytics on the hosting platform.
- Google Analytics 4 — for raywp.com only. GA4 is configured to anonymize IP addresses where applicable.
We do not use Google Analytics data collected on our own properties for advertising purposes.
Advertising
We do not use cookies to serve advertisements or for retargeting. Data accessed via Google APIs is never used for advertising, in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies on the Services are set by third parties we work with to deliver functionality. We do not control these cookies. Please refer to the third party's own policies for details:
- Google (sign-in, fonts, embedded content) — Google Privacy & Terms
- Stripe (payments) — Stripe cookie policy
- Vercel (hosting and analytics) — Vercel privacy policy
If raywp.com or rayanalyze.com embeds content from other third parties (such as YouTube, Vimeo, or social media platforms), those providers may also set their own cookies.
4. Your choices
Cookie banner. When required by law, we display a cookie banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the site footer (where available).
Browser controls. Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies. Instructions are available in the help section of your browser:
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent parts of the Services from working — for example, you will not be able to stay signed in.
Do Not Track. Our Services do not currently respond to Do Not Track ("DNT") browser signals, because there is no industry consensus on what those signals require. We do honor opt-out choices you make through the cookie banner.
Revoking Google access. Cookies are separate from your Google OAuth authorization. To revoke RayAnalyze's access to your Google account, visit your Google Account permissions page.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Services. The latest version is always available at this URL.
